Yuri was to be the animatronic who only attacks through the back door. He had a broken heart on his grille.
Trivia[]
- Yuri's license plate reads "YURIKAA", which is a pun on "Eureka!", an interjection used to celebrate a discovery, a transliteration of a word attributed to Archimedes.
- Unlike the other new characters, he doesn't appear in a cut-scene or end-scene, he is the most mysterious character in the franchise.
- He and Philip are the only two characters who are new in Cars Mater-National, but not playable. However, playable data has been found for both of them in the game's coding.
- He is possibly named after Yuri Gagarin.
- His basis is a 1962 Toyota Crown, though his model matches Gudmund, a 1980 Audi Quattro rally car.
